1 Month to Go!!!

Will the little bean come early, right on, or late? That is the burning question. One thing we do know, he will come when he is good and ready. Hey, there is a new poll question to the right.

Patemm Pad Proud!
Got another great product to pass along. It is called the Patemm Pad. It is a ROUND changing pad that folds up into a neat little square. Great for travel or around the house, if you do not want to use the normal nursery changing pad. Round is better than square since the baby usually never stays put. It has pockets as well to hold diapers and much more. I have used and love it. The company makes them here in the US. They just came out with a new line (this week) all organic!!! They are worth every penny and last. You can choose from waterproof (PVC FREE plastic covering) to all cotton. 10% off all patemm pads for FRIENDS + FAMILY for the month of June to celebrate our new "green" assortment. Please enter the words: "gogreen" in the coupon code, when ordering. Offer ends June 30, 2009!. www.patemm.com

?Did you know?
Did you know that when it is his time, his brain will send a message to his pituitary gland (look that one up). A chain reaction of chemicals and hormones will jump-start the Bump's adrenal glands, which will send a stress hormone through his umbilical cord to the placenta. Once the placenta receives its signal, it'll produce and release estrogen. This will make my cervix soften and open slightly. Once that happens, we'll both need to release oxytocin to speed up the "birthing wave." Birthing waves is the Hypnobabies (www.hypnobabies.com) name for "contractions." Sounds much calmer doesn't it?

Right Now...
Right now the Bump is settling head down in my pelvis. Yes, he is settling. I am getting used as a punching bag, by some sort of extremity on my lower right side. He is staying around my belly button. Not getting much action in the ribs. He is weighing (from what I read) about 6 lbs and about 18.5 inch long... Oh, he just agreed. He just said "HI" to everyone. He is so friendly in my little ecosystem.

What happened this week?
Bri is officially out of school. His school turned 9 months this year. Funny how things work out. He does not go back till sometime in August. He has not had summers off for 9 or 10 years. Golfing, dog parking, house projects, facebooking, maybe a nap... He will be able to get some much needed breaks from 65 kids plus, every hour.

We had our final prenatal meeting with our Doula (look that up). It is going to be nice to have someone to support us when the birthing waves start and when we head to the hospital. She brought a toy animal (baby) over and Fritz was found, holding it in his mouth. He likes toys and it doesn't matter if it is a dog toy or baby toy. This is going to be fun.

Well things are moving along great. I feel great. The baby is doing great. Bri is wonderful and the dogs are just as much fun as they always are. Sorry for no photo, but now I have misplaced the camera. I have the memory card and case but the camera is MIA. Hopefully next week. The Bump is getting bigger and so is the belly.

Love,

Brian, Linda, Fritz, Gus and the Bump
