Brian's good friend Tom Hager, Head Coach for the Jamestown Jimmies Baseball team, was awarded Coach of the Year, again! Congratulations Tom! Tom is in his eleventh season with the Jimmies!
He has been awarded the Region III Coach of the Year, ABCA Regional Coach of the Year, and back to back DAC-10 Coach of the Year honors(2003-2004). Coach Hager's overall record at Jamestown College is 314-148. What a record!!
The team is currently in the NAIA Opening Round Tournament in Oklahoma City. Read below.....
The Jamestown College baseball opened up with a win at the NAIA Opening Round Tournament in Oklahoma City, Okla.
The Jimmies defeated Union University (TN) 4-3 in 10 innings to move on in the five team double-elimination tournament. They now will face the Oklahoma City today at 2:30 pm in a winners bracket game.
